Nanette's Blog

I’m a wife, mother, photographer, creative, and believer.  My husband and I own real estate, renovate our home and write songs while raising three kids and a dog. I’ve spent most of my life using creative outlets to express myself. I started Journaling to sort through the twist and turns that life had to offer. Writing allowed me to read my thoughts, elaborate, reexamine, and fill-in the blanks, to feel the weight of what I had endured. I’ve walked through many situations from phone calls over lunch informing me that we had just purchased our first home site unseen starting and enduring the loss of a business, grieving the loss of our babies, purchasing our first investment property. Through all of the victories and failed attempts I wrote and processed.

I’ve found my self on many occasions across the table sharing my story, sharing these journal entries to people seeking advice. People who were on the same road where I once walked. There I learned the importance in sharing.

This blog will consist of these stories both past and present. I’ll even share a little about my current work/projects both in my photography business and home renovations. I may even share a little bit of the craziness that I call family.
